Magic Valley Aeromodelers LLC Meeting Minutes May 2026
May 2nd Fun Fly was a success even with the wind coming up. Good Burgers and nice flying by guest Dennis Johnson
The grill will be cleaned and seasoned. Thanks to Stuart for the burgers.
New Business:
Allen will look into scheduling a float fly in either May or June.
Jim Colwell brought up trying to obtain the small air racer that used to hang in Gertie’s for use by the club as a display at the field. He will investigate.
Olen is planning a graduation event at the field to honor Jakob Trapp. It will be Sunday May 17th. Coffee and donuts at 10 AM, Brats at noon, with cake to follow. Everyone is invited. Flying will take place.
We plan to mount a box to hold club membership applications and information in the shelter. This way, materials will on hand when people visit the field and show an interest in doing us,
Show and Tell:
Allen showed an E-Flite GB that belongs to Steve Lincoln. It flies fast and lands long!
