When you join Magic Valley Aeromodelers, you’re becoming part of a vibrant community of enthusiasts who share your passion for flight. Our club offers more than just a place to fly — we provide the perfect environment to learn, improve, and connect with fellow hobbyists.
With access to our premier flying field, you’ll enjoy smooth asphalt runways, expansive grass strips, sheltered pit areas, on-site electricity, and even night flying opportunities. No matter your interest — fixed-wing, helicopters, multi-rotors, soaring — there’s room for it here.
As a member, you’ll be part of regular events, fun-flys, competitions, and casual gatherings where you can fly everything from 3-D aerobatics to park flyers. You’ll also benefit from the experience and support of seasoned pilots who are always happy to help you master new skills. If you need training, We offer free R.C., fixed wing pilot training using our club training staff and the club’s training planes.

Process: 1. Contact us and fill out a simple application. Annual dues are: Adult, one year $75.00, three years $210. Under 19 years of age $37.50. Family membership $100.00.
2. Contact and join the Academy Of Model Aeronautics (AMA) https://www.modelaircraft.org to obtain an AMA membership. An
AMA Full Membership provides you with a $2,500,000 personal liability insurance policy and much, much more.
MVA is an AMA/FRIA flying site and you must join AMA to fly at our field with a club membership. The rest is up to you.
