Meeting Minutes March 4, 2026
Meeting called to order at 7:00pm 18 members present no guests
Meeting at Ketchem Burrito in Twin Falls. Lots of wind, rain, and sleet when we started.
Treasurer report:
$9,853. (I think this was the average balance from Mark’s report, not the ending balance. Should have been $10,070.) Oh well.
Maintenance report:
This Saturday 3/7 will be a workday. Starting at noon, we will spread seed and rake it in. Bring a rake.
Safety Report: none
Training report: none
Old Business:
Made sure everyone that is a current member knows of the new code on the gate lock.
New Business:
- Steve Lincoln bought two packets of Buffalo grass seed. Buffalo grass is very drought resistant. The thinking is that this might be the ticket for the area just north of the worktables. We will need some rain for this to sprout, but will try planting it this Saturday.
- No fun-fly scheduled. Will discuss next month.
No pilot of the month award.
Show and Tell:
Stewart brought in a new Innovation all foam Innovation CAP 232. Steve Lincoln will be the first to fly it so Stew won’t be the first to crash it. Steve gave a description of how it is made and how to fly it.
